"Like a fine wine, a premier carpet will be collected and treasured by someone whose artistic palate has been educated to tell the difference between mediocre and exceptional."

In 1973, Geoffrey Orley and Bahram Shabahang met in the Bazaars of Isfahan. Since then, they have built a friendship and a business, selling unique and collectible antique Persian carpets. The Shabahang family has been at the center of the carpet trade for over 400 years, beginning with an ancestor who oversaw the carpet weavers in the royal workshop of King Tahmass Safavieh in the 16th Century.
